Wargames Shows in 2010
Fighting 15s' wargames show schedule for 2010 is intended to include Vapnartak (York, Sunday 7 February), Cavalier (Tonbridge, Sunday 28 February), Salute (London, Saturday 24 April), Phalanx (St Helens, Merseyside, 19 June), Valhalla (Farnborough, 20 June), Attack (Devizes, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July), Claymore (Edinburgh, Saturday 7 August), Colours (11 and 12 September, Newbury), SELWG (17 October, Crystal Palace, London), and Warfare (20 and 21 November, Reading).
Fighting 15s will attend most of those shows in conjunction with Black Hat Miniatures. Fighting 15s attends Attack, Claymore and Phalanx on its own and with reduced stock levels. Fighting 15s will have limited stock at Valhalla.
Fighting 15s will be at no other shows this year - that includes Triples (Sheffield) and any of the Newark shows.
In 2011, the high cost of diesel means that we will attend distant shows only if they can be combined with another reason that makes the trip economical. This means Fighting 15s is likely to remove Vapnartak from the list of shows it attends (and replace it with A Call to Arms). Trips to Claymore in Edinburgh are combined with a visit to friends, so will remain on Fighting 15s' schedule.
Show stock is sold in packs. Full ranges are not carried at shows because there is only so much that can be taken in the car. The complexity of customers' requirements means that Fighting 15s does not take the 15mm WWI, WWII and Indo-China ranges to shows: these ranges need to be ordered in advance.
Advance orders for collection at shows can be placed by phone or email. Advance orders are the only way that customers can obtain single figures at shows. Figures that are available to special order may not be available in time for collection at shows.
Please note that Fighting 15s cannot take credit or debit cards at shows. If you order in advance, we can take card details and process payment in the week before the show. Orders for collection at shows that are paid for by card or PayPal attract a handling fee of 4% to cover the costs of card processing.
Fighting 15s no longer offers post-free deals for orders placed at shows.
